How can we help?
Quick answers for customers and lawn pros.
Customers
When and where does CurbCutz launch?
In March 2027 in Mississippi and Louisiana, on iPhone and Android. We'll expand to more areas soon after, including northern states, where we'll add snow removal. Join the waitlist so we know where to go next.
How do prices work?
Pros set prices for each service by yard size (⅛, ¼, ½ and 1 acre, then per acre up to 10 acres), so you see real prices up front. For bigger or unusual jobs, request a quote with a description and up to 5 photos.
What is VIP?
VIP is 24-hour service when you need it now. It adds an up-charge based on the job price: up to $100 → +$25; $100–$250 → +$50; $250–$500 → +$100; $500–$1,000 → +$200; over $1,000 → +20%. The pro earns it only if the job is done within 24 hours. Otherwise you aren't charged for it.
How and when do I pay?
Payments run through Stripe. Your card is held when you book (for repeat visits, the day before each visit) and charged when you approve the job, or 24 hours after the pro finishes if you don't report a problem. Payments turn on before launch.
What if something's wrong with the job?
Report a problem with photos within 24 hours. The pro can offer a free touch-up (usually within 2 days) or a partial credit. If you can't agree, CurbCutz Support decides from the evidence.
Can I tip?
Yes. Choose None, 10%, 15%, 20% or a custom amount. 100% of tips go to your pro, with no CurbCutz fee.
Are pros insured?
Look for the Insured badge. It shows only after we check the pro's insurance certificate.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel a booking in the app. Any cancellation fee will be shown before you book, and none applies today. If weather forces a change, the job can be moved without a fee. See our Terms of Service.
How are pros checked?
Every pro is reviewed by CurbCutz before they appear to customers. Ratings go both ways, and jobs that pass our photo checks show Verified on site.
Lawn pros
What does it cost?
Free to join. CurbCutz keeps 5% of what customers actually pay for a job (including VIP). You pay your own card processing at Stripe's standard rate. There's no fee on tips.
How do I get paid?
Through Stripe, with payouts to your bank (coming before launch). Stripe handles tax forms (1099-K) when required.
Do I need insurance?
It's not required to join. The Insured badge shows after we verify your certificate.
How do I join the beta?
The beta runs in February 2027 with 10–20 pros in Mississippi and Louisiana. Apply here, we'll call you, you'll set up your profile, prices and schedule, and once approved you can take bookings.
Can I set my own prices and schedule?
Yes. Set prices by service and yard size, workload limits (yards and hours per day and week), working days, days off and blocked dates. Customers can only book your open time. Auto-accept bookings or approve each one.
What happens if a customer reports a problem?
You get the first chance to fix it: offer a free touch-up or a partial credit. If you can't agree, CurbCutz Support decides from the evidence, including your verified photos.
Why GPS photos?
Before and after photos stamped with time and location prove the job was done, which protects your pay.
Does the app track my location?
Only while a job is open, to stamp your photos. Never in the background.

Why is two-step verification required?
